The German Council for Sustainable Development has granted us the quality label “Sustainability Project 2017”. This is a renowned distinction for projects contributing towards the Sustainable Development Goals. These goals include “affordable and clean energy” and “climate action”.
EKOenergy is one of 3 selected international projects. Also, 64 German projects got the award. We are of course very proud. It gives us even more energy to continue our work to promote 100% sustainable and renewable energy, in Germany and worldwide.
Hereafter an extract from the letter we got from the German Council for Sustainable Development.

herzlichen Glückwunsch! EKOenergie hat unsere Wettbewerbsjury überzeugt und darf ab heute das Qualitätssiegel „Projekt Nachhaltigkeit 2017“ tragen.
Mit Ihrem Projekt haben Sie Nachhaltigkeit zu Ihrer Aufgabe gemacht und arbeiten so – gemeinsam mit allen 67 Ausgezeichneten – an der Erreichung der globalen Nachhaltigkeitsziele (SDGs). Wir freuen uns, dass wir mit Ihnen eines von drei internationalen Projekten auszeichnen dürfen.”
