Dieses umfangreiche Projekt, das  in ganz Finnland realisiert werden soll, wird koordiniert von  Mets\u00e4hallitus, der Forstverwaltung Finnlands. Auch L\u00e4nder, Kommunen und  Nichtregierungsorganisationen werden in die Arbeit miteinbezogen. Das  Ziel des Freshabit-Life-Projekts ist es, den Zustand der Seen, Fl\u00fcsse  und B\u00e4che durch verschiedene Methoden zu verbessern, die von  Riverrestaurierungen bis hin zu Umweltbildung und Forschung reichen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Welche Rolle spielt EKOenergie in diesem Projekt? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wir informieren \u00fcber die Auswirkungen von Wasserkraft auf die Natur <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In Finnland gilt Wasserkraft als eine saubere und umweltfreundliche Form  der Energieerzeugung. Die Nutzung von Fl\u00fcssen f\u00fchrt jedoch zu  erheblichen Sch\u00e4den an S\u00fc\u00dfwasser\u00f6kosystemen. Im Rahmen des Projekts  informieren wir \u00fcber die Auswirkungen der Wasserkraft auf die Natur und  M\u00f6glichkeiten, diese zu mindern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Wir haben ein Seminar \u00fcber  Fischpassagen veranstaltet. Dabei wurden die M\u00f6glichkeiten von  Fischpassagen und Umgehungskan\u00e4len zur Minderung der Auswirkungen der  Wasserkraft er\u00f6rtert. Die Materialien sind unter <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sll.fi\/mita-me-teemme\/vedet\/freshabit-life-vesistohanke\/tapahtumat-kalatieseminaari\" target=\"_blank\">sll.fi\/kalatieseminaari<\/a> verf\u00fcgbar.<\/li><li>Wir haben eine leicht verst\u00e4ndliche Website \u00fcber Auswirkungen der Wasserkraft auf die Natur und Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Schadensminderung erstellt.  Die Website wurde im Januar 2018 auf Finnisch unter <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"www.vesivoimanluonto.org (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vesivoimanluonto.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.vesivoimanluonto.org<\/a> ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/li><li>Wir treffen j\u00e4hrlich viele gro\u00dfe Energieverbraucher, aber auch  private und staatliche Unternehmen und informieren diese \u00fcber die  Auswirkungen der Wasserkraft. Wir ermutigen Unternehmen, ihre eigenen  Auswirkungen zu minimieren, indem sie Stromvertr\u00e4ge mit normaler  Wasserkraft auf Vertr\u00e4ge mit EKOenergie-gekennzeichnete Energie  umstellen.<\/li><li>Wir setzen uns f\u00fcr eine bessere Ber\u00fccksichtigung der Naturauswirkungen von Wasserkraft ein. Unsere Kampagne des Jahres 2018 richtete sich an Haushalte und gro\u00dfe Stromverbraucher. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wir haben unsere Wasserkraftkriterien aktualisiert <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the Freshabit project, we have updated EKOenergy\u2019s hydropower  criteria. For these new criteria see chapter 8.3.C of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ekoenergy.org\/de\/ecolabel\/criteria\/electricity\/\">criteria for EKOenergy-labelled electricity<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was ist LIFE?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ekoenergy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Logo_Life_Natura2000.jpg\" alt=\"Logo_Life_Natura2000\" class=\"wp-image-13313\" width=\"127\" height=\"203\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Das Programm LIFE ist das EU-F\u00f6rderinstrument zur Unterst\u00fctzung von  Umwelt- und Klimaschutzprojekten. Der f\u00fcr die Biodiversit\u00e4t- und  Naturkomponente verantwortliche Teil des Programms co-finanziert  bew\u00e4hrte Umweltprojekte. Es konzentriert sich auf die Umsetzung der  europ\u00e4ischen Vogelschutz- und Habitatrichtlinien sowie die Verwaltung  des Natura 2000-Netzes.
