Selvityksen perusteella Ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6rahasto on \nnykyisen vesivoimas\u00e4hk\u00f6n EKOenergiamerkinn\u00e4n vahvuus ja vaatii \nainoastaan pieni\u00e4 muutoksia. Sen sijaan ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6vaatimukset, \ntoimenpiteet ja vahvistamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6 vaativat perusteellisempaa \np\u00e4ivityst\u00e4. Uusi kriteeriluonnos k\u00e4sitt\u00e4\u00e4 Virtavesirahaston (nykyisen \nYmp\u00e4rist\u00f6rahaston p\u00e4ivitetty nimi), kolme ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6vaatimusta (veden \nvirtaama, kalankulku ja jokien elinymp\u00e4rist\u00f6t) sek\u00e4 aiempaa \nennustettavan hyv\u00e4ksymismenettelyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EKOenergian sihteerist\u00f6 tekee kriteeriuudistuksen osana Freshabit  LIFE IP -hanketta. Hankesuunnitelmassa m\u00e4\u00e4ritetyn aikataulun mukaan  ker\u00e4\u00e4mme palautetta ja parannamme kriteeriluonnosta vuoden 2018  kuluessa. Vuonna 2019 pilotoimme vesivoimalaitosten uusia vaatimuksia,  hyv\u00e4ksymismenettely\u00e4 ja dokumentaatiota viidell\u00e4 laitoksella Suomessa.
