Energiak\u00f6yhyyden v\u00e4hent\u00e4misen lis\u00e4ksi ne edist\u00e4v\u00e4t konkreettisesti monia muitakin kest\u00e4v\u00e4n kehityksen tavoitteita (sustainable development goals, SDG), esimerkiksi tavoitetta 2 (Ei n\u00e4lk\u00e4\u00e4) ja tavoitetta 3 (Terveytt\u00e4 ja hyvinvointia).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ilmastorahastomme kasvaessa kehit\u00e4mme jatkuvasti rahoitusmenetelmi\u00e4mme lis\u00e4t\u00e4ksemme vaikutustamme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>T\u00e4h\u00e4n asti avustuksemme ovat olleet p\u00e4\u00e4asiassa 20 000 &#8211; 40 000 euron suuruisia, ja ne on my\u00f6nnetty enint\u00e4\u00e4n kaksi vuotta kest\u00e4ville hankkeille. Iloksemme voimme ilmoittaa, ett\u00e4 olemme nyt ensimm\u00e4ist\u00e4 kertaa voineet tehd\u00e4 yhteisty\u00f6sopimuksen suuremman, monivuotisen hankkeen rahoittamiseksi.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uusiutuvan energian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 kalastuksen elinkeinojen muuttamiseksi Keniassa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Olemme my\u00f6nt\u00e4neet <strong>313 581 euroa<\/strong> <strong>Renewable World<\/strong>in &#8221;<strong>Uusiutuvan energian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 kalastuselinkeinon kehitt\u00e4miseksi<\/strong>&#8221;- hankkeelle, jonka tavoitteena on parantaa Takawiri-saarella asuvan paikallisyhteis\u00f6n hyvinvointia ja elinkeinomahdollisuuksia k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 puhdasta energiateknologiaa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vaikka Kenian kaupunkien ja maaseudun asumiskeskuksissa on laajalti s\u00e4hk\u00f6verkkoa, vain viidennes n\u00e4iden keskusten ulkopuolella asuvista kotitalouksista on liitetty verkkoon. Lopuilla 80 prosentilla ei ole varaa liittymismaksuun tai he asuvat verkon ulottumattomissa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uusi hanke jakautuu nelj\u00e4lle vuodelle. Hanke perustuu Renewable Worldin kymmenen vuoden kokemukseen aurinkovoiman toimittamisesta alueen kalastusyhteis\u00f6ille sek\u00e4 huolelliseen arviointiin paikallisyhteis\u00f6jen hyvinvoinnin esteist\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hankkeen ensimm\u00e4isell\u00e4 puoliskolla keskityt\u00e4\u00e4n j\u00e4\u00e4n ja puhdistetun veden tuottamiseen aurinkoenergialla. Renewable Worlding paikallinen yhteisty\u00f6kumppani, Adili Solar Hubs \u2013niminen sosiaalinen yritys, vastaa rakennettavasta j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4st\u00e4, joka tulee tuottamaan p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4in 300 kiloa j\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4 ja 3 000 litraa suodatettua vett\u00e4 kohtuullisella hinnalla. Kohtuuhintaisen ja turvallisen juomaveden saatavuus auttaa torjumaan veden v\u00e4lityksell\u00e4 levi\u00e4vi\u00e4 tauteja, kuten lavantautia. J\u00e4\u00e4n saatavuus kohtuuhintaan takaa pyydetyn kalan paremman s\u00e4ilyvyyden ja lis\u00e4\u00e4 n\u00e4in pienkalastajien voittomarginaalia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Markkinapohjainen ratkaisu takaa sen, ett\u00e4 vedenpuhdistus- ja j\u00e4\u00e4nvalmistussysteemi yll\u00e4pit\u00e4\u00e4 itse\u00e4\u00e4n taloudellisesti, koska veden ja j\u00e4\u00e4n myynnist\u00e4 saaduilla tuloilla maksetaan j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n toiminnasta aiheutuvat kulut. Konseptia on mahdollista laajentaa my\u00f6hemmin l\u00e4hialueille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kalastajayhteis\u00f6n kouluttaminen ja teknisten valmiuksien kehitt\u00e4minen ovat my\u00f6s keskeisess\u00e4 asemassa. N\u00e4iden keinojen avulla ratkaistaan liikakalastukseen liittyvi\u00e4 ongelmia samalla mahdollistaen elinkeinosta saatavien tulojen kasvun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My\u00f6hemm\u00e4ss\u00e4 vaiheessa hankekumppanit arvioivat muiden puhtaiden teknologiaratkaisujen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6nottoa, jotka voisivat lis\u00e4t\u00e4 entisest\u00e4\u00e4n kest\u00e4v\u00e4st\u00e4 kalastuksesta saatavia tuloja. N\u00e4iss\u00e4 ratkaisuissa otetaan huomioon hankkeen ensimm\u00e4isen vaiheen kokemukset sek\u00e4 mukana olevien yhteis\u00f6jen palaute ja tarpeet. Hanke toimii my\u00f6s malliesimerkkin\u00e4, jonka avulla kannustetaan lis\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n resursseja ja investointeja puhtaaseen energiaan sek\u00e4 ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00e4 v\u00e4h\u00e4n kuormittaviin teknologioihin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>EKOenergian Ilmastorahasto on my\u00f6nt\u00e4nyt erilaisille j\u00e4rjest\u00f6ille yhteens\u00e4 2 287 798 euroa viimeisen kahdeksan vuoden aikana. T\u00e4m\u00e4 on mahdollistanut 79 hankkeen toteuttamisen 27 maassa.
