Tous les projets financ\u00e9s ont pour but de soulager la pauvret\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et de contribuer \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation de plusieurs Objectifs de Developpement Durable (ODD), comme l&rsquo;ODD num\u00e9ro 2 (z\u00e9ro faim) et le num\u00e9ro 3 (sant\u00e9 et bien-etre).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors que le nombre de consommateurs choisissant EKO\u00e9nergie augmente, les contributions au Fonds pour le Climat croissent proportionnellement. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cela, nous sommes d\u00e9sormais capables d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rimenter de nouvelles facons d&rsquo;augmenter l&rsquo;impact de nos subventions en soutenant des projets \u00e0 une \u00e9chelle plus large, et sur plusieurs ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 aujourd&rsquo;hui, nos subventions ont principalement oscill\u00e9 entre 20 et 40 000 \u20ac, et ont principalement \u00e9t\u00e9 accord\u00e9es \u00e0 des projets d&rsquo;une dur\u00e9e maximale de 2 ans. Aussi sommes nous heureux de pouvoir annoncer que pour la premi\u00e8re fois, nous avons s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 un projet plus vaste au travers de notre Fonds pour le Climat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transformer la vie des communaut\u00e9s de p\u00eacheurs Kenyans gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie solaire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous allons subventionner un projet d&rsquo;utilisation de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie renouvelable pour transformer le cadre de vie d&rsquo;une communaut\u00e9 de p\u00eacheurs kenyans port\u00e9 par l&rsquo;ONG Renewable World \u00e0 hauteur de 313 581 \u20ac. Ce projet vise \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9silience de la communaut\u00e9 des habitants de l&rsquo;ile de Takawiri dans la Baie de Homa au Kenya, via un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une \u00e9nergie propre pour 1 970 foyers qui en \u00e9taient jusqu&rsquo;ici d\u00e9pourvus.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En effet, alors que les communaut\u00e9s commercantes du Kenya, rurales comme urbaines, sont largement connect\u00e9es au r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique du pays, environ un cinqui\u00e8me des m\u00e9nages vivant en dehors de ces centres sont connect\u00e9s. Le co\u00fbt d&rsquo;une connection au r\u00e9seau centralis\u00e9, voire simplement l&rsquo;isolement rendent difficile l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s a l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 dans 80% du pays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet s&rsquo;\u00e9talera sur 4 ans. Il s&rsquo;appuie sur les dix ann\u00e9es d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience de Renewable World dans la fourniture d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie solaire aux communaut\u00e9s de p\u00eacheurs du lac Victoria au Kenya et se fonde sur une \u00e9valuation minutieuse des obstacles au bien-\u00eatre des communaut\u00e9s locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 du projet, l&rsquo;accent sera mis sur la fourniture de glace et d&rsquo;eau purifi\u00e9e. L&rsquo;\u00e9nergie solaire sera utilis\u00e9e pour alimenter les processus de purification et de fabrication de glace. Pour la mise en \u0153uvre de cette partie du projet, Renewable World \u00e9tablira une collaboration avec Adili Solar Hubs, une entreprise \u00e0 vocation sociale dirig\u00e9e par des jeunes. Adili Solar Hubs sera charg\u00e9e de l&rsquo;installation d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me qui produira 300 kg de glace et 3 000 litres d&rsquo;eau filtr\u00e9e par jour \u00e0 un prix abordable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une eau potable abordable et s\u00fbre permettra de lutter contre les maladies d&rsquo;origine hydrique, comme la typho\u00efde, qui est un probl\u00e8me r\u00e9current dans la r\u00e9gion. La disponibilit\u00e9 de glace \u00e0 un prix abordable assurera une meilleure conservation du poisson p\u00each\u00e9 et augmentera la marge b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire des travailleurs vivant de p\u00eache vivri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En fournissant ces services dans un contexte de march\u00e9, ce projet devrait permettre \u00e0 de nombreuses personnes de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des revenus durables, de telle sorte que les activit\u00e9s de purification de l&rsquo;eau et de fabrication de glace puissent se maintenir financi\u00e8rement, et que ce concept puisse \u00eatre plus facilement reproduit dans d&rsquo;autres villages et r\u00e9gions. Par exemple, les revenus g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par la vente d&rsquo;eau et de glace permettront de payer le travail manuel n\u00e9cessaire au fonctionnement du syst\u00e8me et \u00e0 la gestion de l&rsquo;entreprise, de contribuer aux frais g\u00e9n\u00e9raux associ\u00e9s et de garantir la disponibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;un fonds de r\u00e9paration et de maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le renforcement des connaissances et le d\u00e9veloppement de la capacit\u00e9 technique de la communaut\u00e9 des p\u00eacheurs sont \u00e9galement essentiels. Le projet encouragera, par exemple, les pratiques de p\u00eache durables afin de r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes li\u00e9s \u00e0 la surp\u00eache, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 la durabilit\u00e9 de la p\u00eache en tant que moyen de subsistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans une phase ult\u00e9rieure, les partenaires du projet \u00e9valueront l&rsquo;introduction d&rsquo;autres solutions technologiques propres qui peuvent contribuer \u00e0 augmenter les revenus de la p\u00eache durable. Ces solutions tiendront compte des exp\u00e9riences de la premi\u00e8re phase du projet ainsi que des r\u00e9actions et des besoins des communaut\u00e9s concern\u00e9es. L&rsquo;ambition de Renewable World est de cr\u00e9er progressivement un environnement qui permette aux secteurs public et priv\u00e9 d&rsquo;investir et d&rsquo;allouer des ressources suppl\u00e9mentaires dans les \u00e9nergies propres et les technologies \u00e0 faible impact environnemental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Au cours des 8 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, notre Fonds pour le Climat a accord\u00e9 un total de 2 287 798 \u20ac. Cela a permis la r\u00e9alisation de 79 projets dans 27 pays jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent.
