EKOenergy-labelled renewable energy is available for consumers of all sizes, thanks to the steadily growing network of authorised EKOenergy providers worldwide. Working with so many knowledgeable and dedicated people is an absolute honour and we are thankful to all of them.
Once a year, we take a moment to highlight and award some of the most extraordinary achievements.
The Oak Award, for the largest EKOenergy seller, goes to ACT. ACT has been offering EKOenergy since 2016, and throughout the years, ACT’s employees have consistently improved their understanding of EKOenergy’s goals, requirements, and processes. ACT gradually made its way to the top 3 of the largest EKOenergy sellers and is now the biggest. Thanks a lot to all those involved in this achievement!
Why oak?
Oak trees grow in large parts of the world. In many cultures, they are a symbol of strength and resistance. Oak trees can become very old and big. Large oak trees are home to hundreds of insect species and, therefore, also a place where many birds and mammals can find food.

By providing EKOenergy-certified products to our customers, we empower them to meet their renewable energy needs while contributing to renewable energy adoption and protecting biodiversity. Through the EKOenergy label, we enable our customers to advance the global energy transition and become environmental stewards.
The demand for EKOenergy is growing steadily, among ACT’s clients and in general. How are you organising to deal with this growing demand?
ACT was one of the first businesses to provide renewable energy and other environmental solutions and services to corporations needing or wanting to decarbonize, so the growing demand for EKOenergy is something we recognize – and contribute to. We continuously educate our customers and their suppliers on the benefits of EKOenergy-certified products and how they align with their sustainability goals and fit into their decarbonization and environmental strategies.
As we’re committed to serving our customers with the best products that support their unique needs, we’re taking steps to ensure we can keep up. We are enhancing our operational efficiencies and expanding our teams to better manage increased volumes and continue to provide excellent service.
What aspects of EKOenergy do you like the most yourself?
Compared to other renewable labels primarily focusing on renewable technology, we highly value EKOenergy’s focus on biodiversity protection.
