EKOenergy – Marketing coordinator Nordic market
EKOenergy is a global, non-profit ecolabel for renewable energy, owned and managed by the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation. We are recruiting a full-time, permanent Marketing Coordinator for the Nordic Market.
Job description
The Marketing Coordinator will promote the use of EKOenergy-labelled energy and encourage EKOenergy users to communicate about their choice. The geographical focus will be on the Nordic countries and will be extended to other regions in the future.
The Nordic Marketing Coordinator’s tasks will include
- establishing and maintaining contacts with energy users, energy sellers and relevant renewable energy service providers in the Nordic countries,
- promoting the use and sale of EKOenergy-labelled renewable energy, especially in the Nordic countries, and
- increasing the visibility and awareness of our brand, including by communicating the objectives and achievements of our eco-label.
To do the job successfully, you will need the following skills:
- Experience in B2B marketing.
- Fluency in English and Finnish. Knowledge of a second Nordic language is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including speaking, writing and presentation skills.
- Proactive attitude and ability to learn new things quickly.
- Attentiveness and diligence.
Experience in sales in the renewable energy sector would be an advantage.
Employment
All EKOenergy employees are employees of the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation. In addition to salary, we offer additional health care insurance and lunch vouchers. The employment relationship is based on the Palta-Erto standard contract, grade PR3 (ranging between 2601 – 3107 EUR based on work experience).
The Marketing Coordinator will be based in Helsinki, at the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation office in Lauttasaari, and will work in close cooperation with other staff. The working language of the EKOenergy Secretariat is English. Telecommuting is possible a few days a week.
The starting date is flexible.
